Charity concert for Alex
An evening filled with music, kindness and support — and a reminder that we are not walking this road alone.
On 21 March 2026, a charity concert was held for Alex. For our family, the evening meant much more than a fundraising event. It showed how many people are willing to stand beside us and help give Alex more opportunities for therapy and development.

Musicians, organisers and volunteers gave their time and energy to make the evening possible. We are equally grateful to everyone who helped with organisation, distributed flyers, shared our story or supported us in the press.
My heartfelt thanks go to all participating musicians, to Andreas Fußeder for moderating and helping make the event possible in our church, to Helmut Sauerer for his support, to Kristina Funk from Forum for the press coverage, to Julian Gelenčir and his company for covering printing costs, and to our mayor Thomas Sellmeir and his wife Maria for their support.
The financial support from the concert helps us primarily fund therapies and rehabilitation stays for Alex. Just as important is the feeling that we are not alone. Every act of kindness makes the challenges of everyday life a little easier and gives us new strength.
Some things cannot be bought: life, health, love, friendship and hope. But it is possible to help a child recover after surgery, learn a new skill and move one step closer to a more independent future. For that, I am deeply grateful.
